Baby Showers

Here we have my first baby shower.. My Home group leader Dena planned it and all the ladies in my home group threw it for me. I had such a great time, and Brynn was blessed with many wonderful gifts.. =) She will most definitely not be lacking. Thank you to all of you who were able to make it. And most of all, thank you Dena for all the work you put into it, and Emily, Kylene, Sarah and Bonnie as well. Here are some pictures of the fun night..

Also, last Saturday, my dance studio held a small baby shower for us too! We didnt' get too many pictures, but I do have a few great ones of the skit that they put on for me. It was all about what the "birth" day would look like.

Ali played me...

Merry Glee played George, who didn't have his pants on yet when he came home from wherever he was when "I" called him... (don't worry she had shorts on... ) Only a dancer lifts her leg that high to put pants on... Ha!

George is consoling me through my labor pains... while we wait for the midwife...

Jennifer played "Zelda" my midwife... Thankfully my midwife's name is Diane and she is nothing like Jennifer made her out to be! =)

Here George is bringing me my very large baby girl....

Thank you ladies, for throwing a fun shower, and a great skit! I hope my "birth" day is nothing like what you depicted. =)

As you can see, I'm very blessed, and have a very fun workplace! =) We have a lot of fun at the studio.. All the companies went together and got us our stroller and carseat... Very necessary things! Thank you!!!

Baby's room...

Well, I wanted to post some pictures of Brynn's room... The "final" picture will be when she's born and we can add her to the picture. =) But here are some pictures of the process of decorating the room...

Only The Beginning!

Well, I have finally given in and started a blog all about us... =) I just love reading everyone's blogs, but I knew that if I started one before I had any kids it would be too boring. So, since Brynn is going to be here soon, I have started our very own blog. =) Fun, fun! I know I still have lot's to learn about doing all of this, but it should be fun.

I want to use this mainly so that there's a way for out of town family and friends to keep "in the loop" with what's happening with Brynn, how quickly she's growing and how much fun I'm having being a Mommy, all the things I'm learning as we go along. So hopefully you will all enjoy that.

I am also excited to have this before she's born so that we can do some "live blogging" while the labor and delivery are happening, that way everyone can be a bit involved! =) I'm planning on having lot's of updates during labor, and depending on how I look, maybe we'll post a few pictures. haha...

For those of you who don't know, we are planning a home birth. Hopefully it will all go smoothly, I'm carefully holding all my "plans" with open hands knowing that God knows exactly how it's going to happen, when she'll be here and where she'll be born. But, we are planning for, and definitely hoping for a home birth.

I'm working hard to get everything ready for her. Her room is almost ready, I have my last shower on Saturday and then I'll be going out to Babies R Us to pick up the last minute necessities. I'm also planning to go shopping tomorrow for all our "home birth supplies." It's so exciting getting this close. On Sunday I will be 37 weeks, which is considered full term, so she could come at any time! But, I'm sure she won't come until after my due date, which is November 17th.

I will try to post some pictures of her room soon.. It's getting so pretty, I just have to hang everything on the walls and it will almost be complete!

Well, I hope this proves to be a fun blog.. I hope you all want to hear my ramblings... I'll be sure to post lot's of pictures, as I'm sure that's about all you will be interested once Brynn arrives. =)
