Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, Brynn had a wonderful first Thanksgiving! We celebrated with Uncle Matt, Aunt Kelly, Maddie, Nana and Papa on Wednesday night at Uncle Matt and Aunt Kelly's house. It was fun seeing them again! Then we spent Thanksgiving at Abuelo and Abuela's (George's parents) house, with the Twinings and Nana and Papa (Noelle's parents..) It was a fun day! We had dinner and then played some football and then some Dance Dance Revolution and then had worship together... Brynn had a great day, here are some pictures of our day.. Happy thanksgiving to everyone!

More pictures...

Hey!
Here are some pictures of our last few days together... We are having SO much fun!!!

Daddy has changed most of the diapers! Yes the poopy ones too! =) He is such a GREAT daddy.. Brynn is a blessed girl. She's going to be a Daddy's girl that's for sure!
Posted by PicasaHere she's all ready to go to Aunt Holly's and Uncle Jim's house to celebrate Nana and Andrew's birthdays!

Her first bath by Mommy.. We were getting all beautiful for church!

All dressed up in her first dress for church... What a cutie pie!

Then we had to get all ready to watch the dolphins game with Daddy.. It doesn't fit yet, but that doesn't matter to a real fan! =)All snuggled and bundled up for bed... She slept SO great last night! Gave Mommy 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep, twice!!! Wow!

Today she is one week old... wow. I knew time would fly once she was here, and boy has it ever. I am just loving this special time. She is SO much fun, and so adorable. We are all smitten by her.

The big day...

I am SO sorry it's taken me so long to get this up! I've been having trouble with pictures! So, here's a recap on how it all happened and then some pictures for you... Enjoy!
Well, it all started on Sunday afternoon when I took 2 tablespoons of castor oil... =) I started having regular braxton hicks around 9pm and went to bed around 11:30pm hoping to get some sleep just in case... It's a good thing! I woke up with contractions around 1am and there was no more sleeping after that! They were around 4 minutes apart and growing more intense as the next 3 hours went by. At 4am George woke up hearing me breathing through my contractions and we called Diane, my midwife. She said she'd come over, so we called my sister Holly and she got ready to come as well. How exciting! I was still trying to make myself think it wasn't really happening, 'cause I didn't want to be dissapointed if it was false, but I would have been pretty surprised if it was false. Holly got here around 5am and Diane arrived around 5:45 I think. She checked me and I was 4 centimeters! I was SO happy to know that all of those contractions had been doing something! Then my contractions kept getting more intense and my hubby did such a great job staying with me and telling me I was doing good... It was all such a great experience, I was so comfortable being at home, and having such wonderful coaches. Diane and her nurse Shannon were SO amazing. They were great at helping me relax through the contractions. I am so grateful they were here with me. Around 7am I got up to walk around for some contractions and they got very intense. This was when I started to wonder if I'd be able to make it. Then I went through transistion and I was sure I couldn't do it anymore. =) Thankfully that was only about 4 contractions and then Diane checked me again at 8am and I was complete... Boy oh boy that was good to hear. So, we got all ready and started to push! She was born at 8:32am!

Crazy right?! I can't believe how quick it was! I have to say, it hurt! But, I have a precious baby girl to show for all that work... That's the best reward I can think of!

Well, I know all you want is the pictures... So enjoy the slideshow of our first day... Thank you all for your love and prayers.

Quickly...

Hi! It's me, mommy! Just wanted to write a quick note to say thanks to everyone for your prayers. God is SO good... I am absolutely blown away by His kindness to me. He has already met my greatest need, in saving my soul, yet He continues to bless me! We have been given a beautiful healthy baby girl. And all in a wonderful experience of childbirth. Thank you my God for your kindness!
I will update more and tell the whole story soon! And of course there are many pictures coming!

Brynn is here!

Brynn was born at 8:32 am this morning! Noelle had a picture perfect labor and only pushed 4 times and she was born. Brynn is absolutely GORGEOUS. Mommy is doing wonderful (and daddy, too). Brynn weighed 7lbs 2oz and 20 1/4 inches.

Baby's coming!

Hello! This is Holly, Noelle's sister, writing to inform you that Nene (aka Noelle), is in labor! She took castor oil Sunday evening around 5pm and then went for a power walk. She went to bed around 11pm and started having some contractions. The contractions continued to progress and the midwife came at 6am and Noelle was already at 4cm! Now, at 6:30 am, she's still having steady contractions. Brynn is coming! Hopefully things will continue to progress quickly and we'll be able to meet little Brynn soon.

Please pray for Noelle (and George)! Daddy George is doing great. He's a great support to Noelle and is making us laugh at the same time. I will update again soon when we know more...

-Holly

Daddy's first of many....

This was Daddy's first outfit he bought for his baby girl... Very appropriate. I'm sure it's only the first of many! How cute, I love it! If you come to our house on a Sunday afternoon, you can expect her to be wearing this! Of course I'll have a bow on her head as well! =)

My Surprise

What a wonderful husband I have! This past Wednesday, he surprised me and took me to West Palm Beach to stay at the Ritz for two nights! This was my birthday present, and it also served as a wonderful getaway before our lives change forever... =) He had lot's of surprises planned for the whole time we were there. First he took me to a concert...

It was the Michael W Smith & Steven Curtis Chapman tour! They are both my very very favorite christian artists. Well, I should say artists at all, of course besides Generation Letter that is... =) It was a great concert. They sang together a lot, sang each others old popular songs, and they both did a set of their own. It was great!

George was so wonderful to take me and enjoy it with me, 'cause he really isn't "into" that kind of music... =) Steven C. Chapman talked a lot about the death of his little girl Maria, it was so good to hear how they are doing as a family, and to hear the witness that he's able to be to many who've watched them walk through this trial.
Here we are at the concert during intermission.

I love my husband so much!

It was so fun, because the whole way home from the concert we were so hungry but couldn't find anything open to get snacks for our room. When we got back to the room the hotel managers had given me a whole plate of delicious fruit and a bottle of wine for my birthday! We were really happy, as you can see...
Enjoying the room.. they had white robes for us..
we just had to wear them! =)

Our gorgeous view! It was like we were on a cruise! You had to go out onto the balcony and look over to see land! It was soo pretty...

Thursday night we went out to dinner with my brother Jake and his wife Shannon. She's pregnant too, she's due this Friday. Crazy I know, she doesn't even look pregnant in this picture. It makes me sick!

Friday morning we spent some more time out by the pool, then it was time for check-out... The pool area was so pretty looking out over the ocean...

The very pretty, fancy lobby of the Ritz...

Then on our way home, we stopped for Starbucks! Yay!!!

It was such a wonderful trip. George did such a great job planning the whole thing. I was very blessed and refreshed.. Now we're just waiting on this baby girl to come!!
