Back in September Brynn and I made the first of two trips to Chicago. These two trips were very special because my cousin Debi was adopting her second child from Uganda in between these two trips. I decided very last minute to head up to "help" Debi and Seth get ready for their trip that they were leaving for in days. Brynn and Seth hit it off and had a blast. The fun thing is that Leah, Debi's daughter waiting in Uganda at the time, is the same exact age as Brynn, so we were awaiting getting the two of them together as well.
Here we have Brynn posing for a picture while Seth can't be bothered from his very fun game of putting the branch into the toy..
Two Buddies playing together...

This is how we "helped" with the packing...

Then we took a little break and went to a fall festival, where Brynn got to ride a horsie!

So fun..

Deb spoiled the kids with Cotton Candy and popcorn..
yes, Brynn is behind that!

fun on the carousel!

Then we went home, and Deb left for a month to Uganda where she rescued her little Leah from the orphanage, where had she stayed only a few years more, the HIV in her little body would have taken her life for sure. But, now because of the medicine and care that Deb will be able to give her she will live life as a normal healthy girl for as long as the Lord blesses us with her. =) It is so amazing, adoption. Absolutely incredible. Such a rescue.
So, we had to go back of course. =)
and, she is more beautiful than words can express.

we got more special time with Seth and "Bebi"

and we got LOTS of time to have a blast with Leah..

The girls thought it'd be fun to push each other.. soo strong!

conversing.. =)

Whee!

We did get to spend a little time with my Aunt and Uncle while we were there, Uncle D has an awesome Train set, Brynn is the conductor!

So fun!

Brynn, LOVED, Nene..

Songs on the piano are so fun..

Flying home again..

But then, the great thing is that only a week later, the WHOLE Steiner family came down to Florida for the week of Thanksgiving! We had so much fun!
here the kids are playing under covers..

Then we finally got some time with Leah and Seth at our house..
Playing Ring around the Rosie...

We all fall down!

Her precious smile..

more snuggle time..

Thanks Deb, for letting us be a little part of this process. I love love love the sacrifice you have made to take this little girl into your home, to love and care for her. We love her more than you could know, and love you and Seth just as much. Let's keep this going.. =)
